It’s whether Dallas will have Cooper Flagg available after the young star suffered a shoulder injury Friday night.
The Mavericks defeated the Indiana Pacers 121-105 on Friday, earning their first victory of the 2026-27 season behind 24 points from Kyrie Irving. However, Flagg left the game late in the second quarter after a hard foul and did not return, creating uncertainty about his availability less than 24 hours later.
San Antonio also played Friday, suffering a 114-110 defeat against the Houston Rockets despite an impressive performance from Wembanyama. The Spurs’ star finished with 25 points, 13 rebounds and two blocked shots, but Houston’s Alperen Sengun scored 29 points to help the Rockets secure the victory.
