Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff won reelection in the US state of Georgia on Tuesday, defeating Republican Rep. Mike Collins, according to the Associated Press.
Ossoff, 39, secured a second six-year term in the Senate, retaining a key Democratic seat in a battleground state won by President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
Collins, who received Trump’s endorsement, campaigned on immigration enforcement, border security and economic issues.
